Lancashire Youth Performing Arts has been established since 1992 and we offer classes in dance and drama to 3 – 19 year olds. We are a privately run, not for profit, organisation which enables us to provide a welcoming & friendly atmosphere, with the emphasis on fun as well as personal development and achievement through performing arts.
Our members’ talents are showcased each year with performances at the Studio Theatre, The Arts Centre, Edge Hill University, Ormskirk. We also offer nationally recognised Arts Awards from the Arts Council England and LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Arts) examinations.
Our teaching staff are professional performers in their own right and are therefore able to pass on their skills to the students from a contemporary perspective. Please be rest assured that our teachers are CRB checked and first aid trained.
In addition to the classes, we run various workshops to provide a wider range of performing arts experiences, from singing tutors, professional choreographers and performance groups such as Bangdrum Workshop.
